Iron Miles ("we," "us," or "our") operates the iron-miles.com website and the Iron Miles Ultra Planner training tool. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
Account information. When you create an account or sign in through our training planner, we collect your email address and basic profile information. Account authentication is handled by Clerk, a third-party authentication provider.
Garmin activity data. If you use the training plan builder and upload a Garmin CSV export, we process that file to generate your training plan. We do not permanently store raw Garmin exports on our servers. Uploaded data is used only to produce your plan during your session.
Questionnaire responses. If you use the questionnaire path instead of uploading Garmin data, we collect the fitness and goal information you enter (e.g., current weekly mileage, target race, schedule preferences). This data is used solely to generate your training plan.
Usage data. Like most websites, our servers may log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, referring pages, and pages visited. We use this data in aggregate to understand site performance — never to identify or profile individual users.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data to serve targeted advertising.

Our training planner may use browser local storage or session cookies to maintain your login state and preserve your plan data between page loads. These are functional only — we do not use tracking cookies or analytics cookies.
Account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the email address below. Garmin CSV files uploaded for plan generation are not retained after your session ends.
Iron Miles is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
